about three dozen young folks from around New England gathered at Harvard this weekend to discuss climate change and establish a New England-wide social movement to get 100% clean electricity by 2020.

Part of this campaign includes Climate Summer: Climate Summer is a cutting edge youth-led program that trains community organizers to build the foundation of a strong climate between students and the community.

Mission:
In 2010, New England Climate Summer will train 50 college students in climate community organizing. Small teams in each New England state will bike from town to town working with local environmentalists and faith communities to demand real, science based action on global warming
