The Town of Branford recently unveiled a 2.82 kilowatt solar array on their Transfer Station. This installation was earned through the state's Clean Energy Communities Program. In attendance at the unveiling ceremony were Lonnie Reed, Ed Meyers, Patricia Widlitz and Unk DaRos, among others.

Branford has many residents who opt to purchase green energy on their electric bill, only 8 Connecticut municipalities have more green energy buyers than the town of Branford. Additionally, Branford has 46 clean energy systems installed.
