I bought one of these bags a few weeks before I had to give a presentation to 7th and 8th graders. The presentation was about going green and I wanted to talk about energy, because that is my area of expertise. I was nervous that I would have trouble making "energy" interesting to 12 and 13 year olds, especially girls! so ... I bought this bag as my backup plan for making my presentation interesting to them.
These ecoist bags are made in Mexico and Peru. They are made from wrappers that would otherwise be thrown away. They plant a tree for every bag they sell.
