As a child I really enjoyed arts and crafts. Sometimes I made potholders with a miniature loom and small cloth loops.
At the Wilton Go Green Festival this weekend I came across a booth with colorful mats and potholders.
There were baskets full of t-shirts as well. I learned that the mats were made of t-shirts! I figured that the t-shirts must be cut into loops and then weaved just like the potholders I made as a kid.
I was so impressed by this creative use of a product I have seen overflowing the racks of many goodwill stores! I was able to talk to two women who came up with this brilliant idea; their company name is Rugamarole Handcrafts.
